Bon Anniversaire in Deauville
 My husband had surprised with a trip to Deauville in France to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and imagine my delight when a chauffeur arrived to take us to the Goodwood Aerodrome.
It was so romantic that we had our own plane and pilot that was flying us across to France, and although we had travelled 1st class on many occasions, it paled into insignificance to the experience we had with Conciair.
There was no laborious check in. We simply walked into the Conciair office, where we were introduced to our pilot, Michael, and the passport procedure had already been dealt with by fax.
After several minutes, we were escorted across to the plane and shown to the sumptuous leather seats that had plenty of legroom to cater for my husband James who is 6ft 5in tall.
Conciair had been very discreet in arranging all the details with my husband, and my favourite magazines and flowers James had ordered were on board the plane, as requested.
We gently took off and 30 minutes later, arrived at a private airport in Deauville, after crossing the Channel on a beautiful summers day.
Michael proceeded to take our luggage and saw us through customs and passport control. Again, there were no queues and no stress. We were escorted through the airport to a taxi that took us to our hotel, the prestigious Barriere all arranged by Conciair.
The weekend went so quickly, and it was my first time in Deauville, famous for Polo, full of designer shops, beautiful beaches, and lots of wonderful restaurants. We had a fabulous time exploring and visiting a small town called Hon Fleur.
When it was time to leave, we returned to the airport and the Conciair pilot was there to greet us. We were taken through departures and passport control swiftly, and escorted to the plane.
Within 30 minutes, we had landed at Goodwood, and the Chauffeur was waiting for us to take us home.
This has been the best anniversary I could have possibly wished for , and Conciair had made the experience seamless and a memorable occasion. This was truly 5 star service, and my only criticism I could possibly make was that the trip was over so quickly.
